UKHO Dutch Licence Agreement

The UK Hydrographic Office has signed a licencing agreement with Nautical Information Services BV for direct electronic transmission of Admiralty Notices to Mariners to vessels at sea under the Digital Folio and Notice Service (DFANS).
It will be available from Dutch Admiralty distributor, Datema Delfzijl BV.
Using the service, key safety-critical information contained in Admiralty Notices, Blocks and Tracings can now be received up to four weeks earlier than traditional paper copy. The DFANS service also includes an automated Correction Log to assist users and vessel owners in the management of information in compliance with ISM and ISO regulations.
