BMT Continues American Expansion

British Maritime Technology acquired the American engineering firm Syntek Technologies last month, making it the fourth BMT operating company in North America. Syntek specialises in naval engineering, product development and counter intelligence.
Syntek will work closely with BMT subsidiary BMT Designers & Planners, for example, to integrate and extend services on offer to the US Navy, including integrated electric power systems currently being designed.
