Desmi Acquires K&R Pompen

Danish pump manufacturer A/S De Smithske, also known as Desmi, acquired the Dutch company K&R Pompen BV last month, which has distributed Desmi products in the Netherlands for more than 40 years.
A/S Smithske manufactures Desmi centrifugal pumps and Rotan internal gear pumps for marine and industrial applications.
As part of the Desmi Group, K&R Pompen BV will become known as Desmi K&R Pompen BV and will retain all current employees. The company's own range of marine pumps will continue in production and will be included in the Desmi pump range. The strategic aim of growth will be based on product and market development.
