Innovations Showcase Boosts Visitor Focus on New Products
01 Jun 2002
New at seawork2002 is the Innovations Showcase, providing the perfect focus on products and projects which have come to the market or been undertaken in the past year.
With research indicating that 70% of all seawork visitors attend specifically to see new products and vessels, the Innovations Showcase will provide a fast track route for them to proceed directly to stands of special interest.
Located immediately within the main registration area, the display has attracted over 40 entries to become a significant new feature of the show. As well as attracting large exhibitors such as Halyard, Raymarine and Scania, the Innovations Showcase has also proved popular with smaller firms who see the initiative as an opportunity to catch the eye of industry at an event which will draw some 6,000 key decision makers.
Exhibition Manager, Jane Wilson, says, 'We are delighted with the reaction received. We have been aware in the past of how many new and exciting products are presented for the first time at seawork but are possibly overlooked among the hundreds of stands and in the packed marina. The Innovations Showcase will ensure that visitors need waste no time in discovering which of the new introductions can be applied to their own field of operation.'
