    Water Witch Scares Up Antwerp Pollution

    Specialist pollution control boat builders Liverpool Water Witch Marine and Engineering Co Ltd have recently delivered their latest vessel to the Belgian Port of Antwerp. The Condor is a 10.5m special-build Mark 3 version of their versatile surface dredger.

    The latest completion by Scotland's Macduff Shipyards Limited is a steel fish farm workboat for Aquascot Group Limited to deploy at their facility in Gigha. The Emma is a versatile design by Macduff with tank and deck stowage facilities and a bow ramp door.

    QinetiQ had the distinction of exhibiting both the largest and the smallest vessels on show at Oceanology International in London earlier this month. 

    Raidco Lands French Navy Patrol Boat Order

    The French Navy has ordered the first 11 boats of a 22 boat coastal surveillance craft fleet on behalf of the Gendarmerie Maritime, which will use them for navigation patrol, anti-smuggling operations, fisheries policing and immigration control around the east coast of the country. 

    Water Taxis to Boost Lower Manhattan

    Derecktor Shipyards of Mamaroneck, New York, has signed a contract with New York Water Taxi (NYWT) for the construction of six low wake passenger catamarans with which NYWT will create a feeder and distribution service for the ferry terminals in Lower Manhattan and operate small scale commuter, tourist and custom charter services.
