The Newhaven port authority has awarded a contract to Kent based N E Murray (Marine Contractors) to provide shiphandling services, following an increase in the size and frequency of ferries using the port. From the 19 March the twin-screw 'Dog class' tug Nore Commodore will be on station to offer a continuous round the clock service. 

Tsavliris Complete Three Month Varyag Tow

The Tsavliris Salvage Group has delivered the half-finished aircraft carrier Varyag to her new owners in China at the end of a marathon towage operation lasting 110 days.
