UKHO Contract for Gardline

Gardline Surveys of Great Yarmouth has been awarded a further two-year contract by the Ministry of Defence for surveys in support of updating UK nautical charts on behalf of the UK Hydrographic Office.
The work will be carried out this year and next by two offshore vessels and one inshore survey craft, located in the English Channel. The contract area exceeds 6,100km 2and requires acquisition, processing, and charting of more than 60,000 km of bathymetry, sidescan sonar, and magnetometer data in addition to wreck investigations and ancillary observations.
