    'Tina' Conversion Delayed Two Months

    The 4000m3 trailing suction hopper dredger Tina, now renamed Josef Mobius, was still at German shipyard Peters Schiffbau when MJ went to press in early November - two months after her scheduled re-delivery following extensive conversion.

    The 11th staging of ShipRepair & Conversion returns to London's Grand Hall, Olympia on 27 and 28 November with product launches, company presentations in a new workshop facility and a new format discussion-based conference underlining the 'hands on' theme. 

    Germany's SET Completes Challenging Conversion

    Germany's inland shipbuilding, repair/conversion and ship development concern SET has completed one of its most challenging projects ever - the complex lengthening and conversion of the research ship Ludwig Prandtl for the Hamburg-based coastal research institute GKSS.
