IMarEST Accreditation

The London-based Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST), the international professional body and learned society which claims to be the largest marine organisation of its kind with a worldwide membership of 16,000 in over 100 countries, is now offering accredited membership to hydrographers, geologists and oceanographers among others.
Various categories of chartered membership are available for suitably qualified applicants.
These are Fellow (FIMarEST), Member (MIMarEST), Associate Member (AMIMarEST), and Associate (AIMarEST).
Membership is also open to students, graduates and affiliates.
To qualify for membership, candidates must first demonstrate appropriate professional competence and commitment.
