IMCA Survey Document
01 Dec 2003
The London-based International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), which has a worldwide membership drawn from more than 40 countries, has published a set of Terms & Conditions for Survey Support Services based on procedures originally set out in its Offshore Survey Contracting Principles document circulated in April 1999.
They have been prepared for use by IMCA members in particular (although not exclusively) for situations where Association member users and contractors are engaged in preliminary negotiations.
IMCA points out, however, that the terms and conditions are not necessarily binding and that each member is free to enter into whatever contracts it deems to be in its own interests.
