ABB/A&P Repair Alliance

Marine turbocharging and servicing company ABB has entered into a non-exclusive alliance with A&P Southampton to provide enhanced ship repair and support services for vessels calling at the port.
ABB opened a new fully equipped workshop in the A&PSouthampton drydock facility last month which is equipped to carry out overhauls of all ABB turbochargers, including the latest TPL/TPS designs. The alliance allows ABB to improve rapid response for service and spare parts, with additional manpower available from A&P Shipcare when required.
