New Swedish Port Terminal Prepares to Take Off

Malmö’s new SEK 220 million Toyota Nordic Hub Vehicle Logistics Centre, which was only opened in May, is now gearing up to double its car handling capability this year.

Current deployment in Malmö - part of the port complex of Copenhagen-Malmö (CMP) at both ends of the Oresund bridge/tunnel link across the Baltic - is 5,000 vehicles. That will double in October when the facility starts to serve Finland and Norway as well as Denmark and Sweden. Total annual capacity is put at more than 100,000 cars.
