Redmariner Takes Flight to seawork2003

Exhibiting at seawork for the first time this year is the new marine equipment supplier Redmariner Ltd , an offshoot of the well known aviation company Red Box International .

Redmariner is exhibiting a special inspection camera which is designed to enable its operator to view difficult to reach areas both on board and outside the hull under water. Already in use in the UK at the US Navy base at Hythe on Southampton water, the Probe Vision system has a waterproof camera and a second camera that can be connected to a borescope for inspecting into engines or stern tubes. The time saving system has been entered for seawork 's first ever Spirit of Innovation Award and can be viewed at stand S64.

Also on the Redmariner stand will be a range of frequency and voltage converters, and an unusual UPS system as recently fitted to a fleet of merchant oil carriers.

Redmariner products are spin offs from aviation technology and are thus remarkably small, lightweight, and rated for high temperature installations in engine rooms.
