Vessel builders wrestling with the perpetual problem of sunlight and high ambient lighting levels making information display monitors difficult to see will be heartened by developments at Global Display Solutions .
The designer and manufacturer of industrial display solutions continues to provide the CRT monitors it pioneered in the 80s but has since added the Mitra and Morpheus ranges of high brightness LCDs which incorporate a specially designed thermal management system allowing them to be entirely visible in any light without damage to the LCD panels.
A built-in auto-dimming facility also allows the displays to be dimmed beyond a 500:1 ratio for perfect viewing regardless of conditions. The company's latest developments include touchscreen high brightness display technology.
