Designed, built and type approved in the UK, the Walker 9090 is suitable for all commercial and naval shipping.

Enabling standard cable connection from the transducer to the display unit, the Walker 9090 has a unique transducer design, providing pre-amplification and signal processing. Up to four fixed and retractable transducers are available, which use type approved sea valves and hull fittings.

Two alarms are provided on the 9090. One alarm gives notification of depth falling below a specified shallow limit as low as 0.5m and the second is a permanent shallow alarm, factory set at 2m. This cannot be switched off unless the Echosounder is powered down.

All soundings displayed over a 12 hour period are stored in memory. Any time over this period can be selected and the screen will then display fifteen minutes of the specified recorded data. A printer output is available to an optional printer.

Vital operations can be carried out in one touch of the soft menu buttons which are displayed on the TFT screen.

Four standard range scales are provided for 1-10m, 0-20m, 0-50m and 0-200m.

The 9090 complies with all IMO regulations for Navigation Echosounders on merchant vessels, including the recent SOLAS Chapter V regulations.
