BHD Wins Contract for Land Reclamation Project in Dubai

Ballast Ham Dredging (BHD) has been awarded a contract for a land reclamation project at Port Rashid, Dubai.
The client is Dubai Palm Developers, and the total value of the contract amounts to around ?40 million.
The trailing suction hopper dredger HAM 317 has already started work on the project, delivering the first load of sand.
The project is scheduled for completion in April of 2004 and consists of the reclamation of some 30 million m 3of sand.
