The Holzinger 2000 Class vessel will be fitted with the advanced Patroltek control panel and an arrangement of anodes and references cells designed to provide its steel hull with optimum corrosion protection.

Specially designed for high speed craft, the Patroltek digital control system consists of four anodes fitted within cofferdams and recessed to provide a streamlined hull profile with minimum drag. There is also fifth anode to protect the propeller against corrosion pitting, a common problem on craft operating at high speeds.

In operation, reference cells mounted port and starboard measure the electrical potential of the hull/seawater interface.

The reading is fed back to the control panel which automatically adjusts the output to the anodes, ensuring the most effective level of protection at all times.

In keeping with the role of the craft, the Patroltek system has a rugged cabinet with certified shock and vibration resistance.

The electronics have also been designed to minimise 'noise' to avoid the risk of interference with sonar or other equipment.
