Lamor the Merrier With Global Growth

Finland based oil spill clean-up equipment manufacturer Lamor Corporation continues its global expansion with the establishment of a subsidiary in the United States. The office is the result of collaboration with Lamor 's former US distributor, Hyde Marine Inc , and is expected to grow into a production facility, shortening delivery times across the Atlantic.

Lamor Asia has been instrumental in the establishment of the Bohai Oil Spill Response Centre in China, supplying both technical consultancy and support as well as entering into a contract to deliver oil spill recovery equipment to the centre.

In a busy 2003, Lamor has supplied vessel mounted oil recovery systems to countries as diverse as the USA, UK, Romania, Russia, South Korea, China and Chad. Also popular have been the Lamor/Lori Side Collector systems which attach easily to existing vessels and deliver high rates of oil recovery.

Closer to home, Lamor personnel have offered assistance in a series of small spills which have occurred throughout the Baltic Sea area. These events have seen Lamor's special purpose equipment such as Harvester deployed.

This amphibious vessel was designed for oil recovery in weeds. Also seeing action has been a bucket skimmer which successfully recovered oil in icy conditions in the Gulf of Finland.
