Marine Opportunities at All-Energy 2004

The All-Energy Opportunities exhibition and conference returns to Aberdeen with the fourth in a series of annual events scheduled for 25-27 May. Devoted to renewable energy, All-Energy Opportunities will provide a topical update on all renewables, including the emerging offshore wind, wave and tidal power industries which promise substantial workloads in the offshore marine construction and support sectors.
The arrival in the UK this month of wind farm installation vessel Mayflower Resolution is indicative of the growing market for marine renewable technology.

For the first time the conference at All-Energy Opportunities will be free of charge to all exhibitors and visitors. The two day event over three days opens at midday on 25 May and closes at 14:00 on 27 May.

Energy Minister Stephen Timms has agreed to open the show and Scottish Executive Minister Lewis Macdonald has not only agreed to speak but will also hold one of the regular Forum for Renewable Energy Development in Scotland (FREDS) meetings.

Exhibitors from Austria, Germany, Italy, Norway and across the UK have already reserved space for the exhibition, which hopes to top the 150 exhibiting companies in attendance last year. The event is held in association with the British Wind Energy Association and Scottish Renewables Forum, with the Society for Underwater Technology as the learned society patron and Aberdeen City Council as the principal sponsor.
