New MTU Benelux Subsidiary

MTU Friedrichshafen, the main entity of DaimlerChrysler Off-Highway, has taken over MDB-Roodenburg of Dordrecht, DaimlerChrysler Off-Highway distributor in the Netherlands.
The company has been renamed MTU Detroit Diesel Benelux and become part of the worldwide DaimlerChrysler Off-Highway corporate organisation, with responsibility for all distribution activities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
MTU Detroit Diesel Benelux' scope of activities encompasses all off-highway markets, of which marine represents 70%.
It includes sales and service, engineering and technical support, spare parts and marketing with regard to the MTU, Detroit Diesel, Mercedes Benz and VM-Motori brands.
The company maintains its location in Dordrecht and co-operation continues with Antwerp based MDB Verswijver.
