Thamesport now has 39 terminal tractors operating on site. With a total area of 85 hectares, the replacement of older, slower equipment with new machines will boost turnaround times to and from yard and quay.

The new tractors feature powerful 4X2 drivelines suitable for handling heavy cargo up to gross combination weights of 75 tonnes. All tractors are built to conform to a modular concept, with ergonomically designed safety cabs fulfilling ROPS (Roll-Over Protection System) and FOPS (Falling Object Protection System) safety requirements. They also feature the latest in chassis construction methods and low emission engine technologies.
