SeaSafe Sails to seawork
01 Mar 2004
Based at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, SeaSafe Systems will have a short passage across the Solent to exhibit its range of marine safety clothing at seawork2004 .
SeaSafe pioneered the development of the all-in-one foul weather coat with integrated lifejacket, a popular choice for harbour pilots worldwide.
SeaSafe's combination coats have been winning some high profile orders recently, including an exclusive jacket for British Waterways at London's Canary Wharf. Based on SeaSafe's Mariner jacket, it uses a new 'tactel' material for enhanced appearance and comfort and is produced in navy and gold colours with an embroidered British Waterways logo. The British Ministry of Defence has just placed an order for another version of the Mariner jacket which will be used by staff at the Marine Warfare Training Unit at Fareham in Hampshire.
Another first for SeaSafe is its new collaboration with Seastart, the mechanical breakdown service for boat owners. Seasafe has produced a combination coat and lifejacket which will be offered exclusively to the thousands of Seastart members. Derived from SeaSafe's established Mariner and Explorer jackets, it again uses the new tactel material in yellow and navy and comes with features such as internal pull cord and extra pockets.
SeaSafe has also recently expanded its Harbourmaster Range to include waterproof jackets, showerproof jackets, body warmers and overtrousers.
Produced specifically for harbour masters and port marine officers, the four options are each now available with both the SeaSafe and HarbourMaster logos embroidered onto the garments.
IHMA members can have the full colour IHMA crest embroidered free of charge onto any item in the range.
