Small Hydro Survey System at seawork

One of the companies representing the hydrographic survey sector at seawork2004 will be Sadaret Ltd , which is the exclusive UK agent for the Valeport Midas Surveyor .The low cost, portable hydrographic survey system has proven popular since its market launch last summer, with early customers including British Waterways and Tower Hydrographics.
The Surveyor is a complete portable dual frequency data acquisition system which features an integral DGPS receiver, rechargeable power source, and inputs for heading, sound, velocity, heave and external fix.
The unit logs all data for subsequent downloading or can output in real-time into third party software. It is designed for small scale hydrographic surveys such as for harbour maintenance, dredging operations, pipeline outfalls, beach profiling and dock inspections.
Due to its size, the system is well suited to fast mobilisation and operation on very small craft. The Midas Surveyor is supplied in two cases complete with all necessary transducers, cables, fixtures and fittings.
