Cleopatra Launches Versatile 'Fast Angler'

DS Marine , the UK and Ireland distributor for the range of fast workboats built in Iceland by Trefjar Ltd , has announced the arrival the Cleopatra Fisherman 33 and 38 fast fishing vessels. Unlike other craft in the range which all feature a space saving V-drive system, the Cleopatra Fast Angler can, if required, be conventionally engined.

When fitted with a 430hp Cummins 6CTA8.3M driving through a ZF302V gearbox with a reduction ratio of 1.65:1, the new model is capable of speeds up to 35 knots. Potential owners not requiring such performance can opt for a less expensive 265hp Perkins Sabre installation which will still deliver 23 knots with improved economy.

Like all Cleopatras, the Fast Angler is built in accordance with the stringent requirements of the Nordic Boat Standard with a high level of specification included in the price. This includes interior accommodation fitted in teak, galley, sink, WC, two or three full-size berths, heating, VHF, compass, CD player and delivery to the Port of Immingham UK. A Cleopatra Fast Angler demonstration vessel is based in Poole UK.
