New Jetty in the Braakmanhaven
01 Sep 2004
Zeeland Seaports in the Netherlands, (which include the ports of Terneuzen and Vlissingen) says a new jetty is being constructed in the Braakmanhaven in the harbour at Terneuzen. The jetty is primarily intended for use by Oil Tanking Ghent .
Construction of the new jetty required the western part of the Braakmanhaven to be dredged earlier this year.
The port says the new jetty will be ready by the end of this year, and is expected to be operational in 2005.
