Be Safe, Save Money at Seawork

California USA based MICAD Marine LLC had such a successful Seawork last year that it has doubled the size of its stand for Seawork 2005 .

The company manufactures computer hardware and software, with its flagship product being the MICAD Marine System, a real-time marine data collection and management system which, in addition to information and diagnostics, includes satellite communication, vessel and fuel management, and permanent archival of vessel data on each individual vessel or an entire fleet of vessels.

Visitors to Seawork will be pleased to know that MICAD Marine and the PIMSIC Group have announced a new agreement to provide deeply discounted insurance products to MICAD Marine customers worldwide.

Recognising the greatly increased safety, security and accountability of vessels equipped with the MICAD Marine System, PIMSIC Group will offer MICAD customers up to 20% off their current insurance costs, including protection and indemnity, protection of marine hull, machinery and cargo, and crew liability and personal accident The agreement with PIMSIC, a well established insurance firm with services worldwide, provides owners of the MICAD Marine System with a tangible, bottom line benefit arising from safe operations through the product's data management, archival and communication capabilities.

This relationship brings benefits to both MICAD Marine and PIMSIC customers. PIMSIC Group will offer its customers the opportunity to save significant expense by installing the MICAD Marine System on their vessels.
