Atlantas Marine Organise First UK VideoRay Users Conference

Over 25 owners and operators attended the first UK VideoRay Conference held over two days in Poole, Dorset. The event was organised by UK distributors Atlantas Marine.

The company demonstrated several new developments including the GTO's - Greater Thruster Option. The new larger thrusters are designed to work with the Atlantas VideoRay Pro III ROV which allows it to work in currents of up to 4 knots greatly increasing its functionality in aggressive environments.

Also on trial was a prototype mini tracking system being developed by System Technologies due for release in 2006. The system will provide accurate positioning of the ROV while involved in hull searches, target location and wall inspections.
