Versatile Hovercraft on Pontoon

Griffon Hovercraft returns to the Seawork pontoon with a new model which is the smallest in their range. The 6.6m 380TD, capable of carrying six persons or a payload of 450kg, is happiest in difficult if not impossible conditions for conventional boats such as over land, sand, mud, rocks, weeds, logs, debris and rapids.

The versatile 6.6m LOA Griffon 380TD Hovercraft will reach locations for which other workboats find access impossible.

Manufactured in a combination of aluminium and composite (FRP) materials, the 380TD is ideally suited to applications such as survey, dredging and civil engineering support, mud and weed sampling, pipeline inspection and rescue.

The rugged rigid inflatable hovercraft benefits from having two diesel engines, one for lift and one for thrust, which improves craft control. With an optional hover-on, hover-off trailer, one person can quickly and easily transport and operate the 380TD virtually anywhere.
