Versi-Dredge Digs Into Europe at Seawork
01 Mar 2005
Wave Seven Marine , which specialises in the supply of innovative marina equipment, will be showing the US built Versi-Dredge transportable dredging machine for the first time at Seawork 2005 .
Powered by a rugged John Deere diesel engine, the Versi-Dredge is used worldwide for dredging in marinas, canals, rivers and ponds. An enthusiastic reception in its home market and in Asia has kept its builder too busy to actively promote the unit in Europe until recently.
Wave Seven Marine has set out to rectify the situation and we can expect to see a number of Versi-Dredge operating on this side of the Big Pond shortly.
Jim Horton, president of Versi-Dredge builder IMS Dredge, recently made a tour of customers and potential customers in the UK with Wave Seven's Roger Nadin.
He returned to America excited about the prospects for VersiDredge not only in the UK and Ireland but also in the rest of Europe.
Just before flying home out of Gatwick Airport he said, 'I can see a complete new market opening up for us not only in the marina world but also in commercial dredging.'
