Top Class Container Ships

Lloyds Register will class the world's largest declared capacity container ships, four 10,000teu vessels to be built in Korea at Hyundai Heavy Industries for China Ocean Shipping Corporation (COSCO).

To be delivered between late 2007 and mid-2008, each ship will measure 349m LOA with a beam of 45.6m and will be powered by a single 94,000hp engine to enable a trading speed of 25.8 knots.
