New General Counsel at Associated British Ports

Associated British Ports has named Andrew Garner as the company's new General Counsel in an appointment which became effective from the first of this month.
Garner joins ABP after serving as General Counsel Corporate for First Choice Holidays. An Oxford graduate, he qualified as a solicitor with law firm Linklaters & Paines in 1993. Following Linklaters, he worked for Unigate PLC, which included logistics.
Garner succeeds Stephen Walsh, who served as ABP’s General Counsel for three and a half years.
