Japan’s Furuno marine electronics company has opened a fully owned subsidiary, Furuno Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg, which has taken over Furuno’s service and distribution activities within Germany, Austria and Switzerland from former distributor Ferropilot. The establishment of Furuno Deutschland together with the recent opening of Furuno Eurus in Russia strengthens the company’s market support in Europe.
