    Irish Eyes on Lifeboat Training

    The new National Maritime College of Ireland has begun training the country’s next generation of seafarers using a complete range of lifeboats manufactured by Survival Craft Inspectorate Ltd of Aberdeen. 

    Money for New Rope at Seawork

    Seawork regulars MarineCo Ltd had an unexpected but welcome experience at Seawork 2005. As the company’s Chris Dinham explained, ‘A group of fishermen came onto the stand and, after the usual negotiation, handed me £750 in cash for rope to be delivered the following week. It’s very unusual to be handed so much cash at an exhibition.’
