Bank of Scotland's Seawork Debut
01 Apr 2006
Bank of Scotland Marine Finance, a familiar name in the leisure marine market and an active player in the global shipping market for many years, will be exhibiting at Seawork for the first time in Southampton this summer.
Over recent years the company has secured funding for UK based companies to purchase plant and machinery, pontoons, and commercial vessels such as tugs and barges. Paul Ratcliffe, Asset Finance Manager-Marine, will be available throughout the show to offer funding advice for visitors and fellow exhibitors.
He commented, 'I am looking forward to exhibiting at Seawork.
I have visited the show for many years and realise its business potential for a company such as ours. Bank of Scotland has considerable experience in the commercial marine sector and has an astute understanding of the business, its pressures and client expectation.
'As flexibility and suitability of funding is a crucial factor for the ongoing success and profitability of any business, we consider the potential use and lifetime of the asset to be purchased when discussing funding options. I will be delighted to discuss any visitor's funding enquiries during the show or make arrangements to visit them at a later date in more confidential surroundings.'
The marine asset finance division is able to supply funds in sterling, euros and dollars and can call upon the skilled resources of the company's global shipping division if complex, larger funding requests are received.
