Entrants Required for Dutch Innovation Award
01 Apr 2006
The jury uses a broad interpretation of innovation in the categories of both product and business process innovations.
The minimum requirement for every entry is proven generation of added value for the Dutch maritime industry. Financial background must also be provided.
The product innovations category includes recently launched products and services and can be either tangible technologies such as systems and components or new forms of providing technical services, with special attention to system integration. The winning entry must have been sold to at least one relevant market player and must have broad applicability within the maritime sector, great marketability, and export potential.
Within the business process innovations category, the award is not necessarily about a product itself but more about the modernisation and organisation of a company.
The jury of ten prominent maritime experts will assess incoming proposals and provide a shortlist of nominations in early September. Entry forms can be downloaded from www. hme. nl and submitted until 19 May.
