Consolidation Creates Turner Engine Controls

Over the past 10 years Berkshire UK based Turner Diesel Ltd has successfully developed its Woodward controls business into a main line franchise for the company.
This has resulted in Turner purchasing part of Woodward in the Netherlands and starting to trade as Turner Engine Controls BV in mainland Europe, representing Woodward as their distributor, authorised independent service facility and recommended turbine retrofitter for the Benelux countries. This also complements the Turner Woodward facilities based at Aldermaston in the UK.
Due to the continued growth of the control business, the company has decided to consolidate their Woodward products business by marketing it through a common trading name of Turner Engine Controls in their supported regions of the UK, Ireland, Benelux and the Middle East whilst continuing as a division of the Turner Diesel group. This makes Turner Engine Controls the largest distributor in Europe for Woodward products.
Consolidating the business enables Turner to focus on the key markets of marine propulsion and power, oil & gas, and industrial power. The initial focus for the retrofit side of the business was mainly on diesel engine generators and propulsion but the addition of the Dutch office has brought additional turbine retrofit experience which has enabled growth of the Middle East business.
