    American companies RailPower Technologies and Ocean Tug & Barge Engineering (OTB) have entered into a supply and licensing agreement whereby RailPower will license and supply its hybrid power systems to tug and towboat builders, tug and barge operating companies, and shipyards involved in the construction of a wide range of workboats. 

    Tough Tug Protection at Seawork

    Chichester UK based vessel protection specialists MG Duff International approached Itchen Marine Towage of Southampton last summer about using one of their tugs to prove the effectiveness of Zingard, a one component cold-applied galvanising system which was launched at Seawork 2004.
