Australian Video Recorder Contract

NETmc Marine in Aberdeen reports an order worth more than US$100,000 for its range of digital video recorders from SureSpek of Western Australia, an inspection, maintenance and repair consultancy retained by Australia's largest publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production concern, Woodside Petroleum.

The order includes supply of NETmc Marine's DVR Pro pipeline inspection-recording system that synchronises playback of the typical three ROV camera views of a pipeline survey. Also commissioned is an SDK (software development kit) which will enable Surespek to interface its own SIMS package, a computerised data acquisition and reporting system for pipelines, to the DVR Pro;

it permits instant access to any point of a recorded video.

Other items being supplied are the DVR Inspector, a direct replacement for the VCR which has been interfaced to a number of Integrity Management packages, and DVR Peli, NETmc Marine's fully integrated portable DVR for use in remote sites or smaller operations.
