Improved Surveillance Camera for Marine Security

A new design surveillance camera from Texas USA based Night Vision Technologies will enhance safety and security by improving the operator's ability to detect, observe and identify objects and activity in total darkness, daylight or mixed light.

NTSC video output from the new 125 surveillance camera can be integrated into a vessels wheelhouse.

For shipping, commercial vessels and large pleasure craft, the 125 stationary camera will monitor cargo and other valuable equipment. The unit also has broad security applications for ports, harbours, boatyards and marinas.

The thermal camera inside the 125 is protected from the harsh marine environment by a rugged, pressurised stainless steel housing.

It provides NTSC video output and is easily integrated into a vessel's bridge or land based monitoring and control rooms.

With a 640 by 480 pixel resolution, a high quality image can be produced in a variety of light and environmental conditions. Five different lens options with field of view ranges from 110 to 500 can detect human activity up to 475m away. The camera also has the capabilities to define multiple colour set points for quick intuitive temperature recognition.
