Bridon Ties Up Marlow Takeover

Bridon International has acquired the offshore and commercial marine assets of Marlow Ropes, including manufacturing facilities at Coatbridge in Scotland and Hailsham in England.
Bridon, which specialises in the manufacture of steel wire and wire ropes, will enhance its range by adding the fibre rope products for which Marlow is known.
Bridon is already established within the marine industries, providing steel wire ropes for the fishing industry, drilling rig anchor lines and floating production mooring cables for the offshore industry as well as wire ropes and cables for port and offshore cranes.
