With a deck load capacity of approximately 400m/t and supported by 48in diameter spuds, the new platform will be available in September of this year.

It is the fourth Combifloat self elevating platform that Flexifloat has brought into the market within the last 18 months.

Two have been sold and the third is part of the Combifloat rental fleet.

As the platforms are of modular construction, transport is easy and they can thus be put to work any place in the world.

The units measure 18.5m by 24.5m but can be extended as required. The Combifloat self elevating platforms are built under Germanischer Lloyd and classed as 100 A5 K(20) Self Elevating Unit.

The rental fleet of Flexifloat Systems now contains five modular self elevating platforms ranging from 80 to 400m/t. A wide variety of modular pontoons and accessories are available for use as lay barges, jetties, bridges, ferries, hovercraft, spud barges and push boats. Every pontoon has a deck load of 15m/t per m 2. All Combifloat equipment is available for rent or purchase and can be delivered worldwide.
