Still unnamed at press time, the tug is powered by two Caterpillar 3412 TA/B marine diesels generating a total of 1,440bhp at 1,800 rpm. Two bronze fixed pitch Promarin propellers in 1,500mm van de Giessen Optima nozzles are driven through Reintjes WAF 364L 1:4.48 reduction gearboxes to deliver 11.7 knots and 20 tons bollard pull ahead.

Auxiliary equipment includes a Lister DWS 4 three phase genset rated 27.5kVa, 50Hz, 230/400V and a Lister LPW 4 harbour set rated 14kVa. On deck is a Kraayeveld towing winch with a holding power of 45 tons and a Mampaey SWL 250kN towing hook. A Heila HLM 13-3S deck crane will lift one ton at 10.97m and has a 1.6 ton winch.

A comprehensive navigation and communications fit out includes Furuno FR-7062 radar, a Cassens & Plath Kotter type magnetic compass, Simrad AP-50 autopilot, Furuno GP-90 GPS, two Sailor VHFs, a Furuno FCV 600L echosounder and a Furuno NX-700 Navtex.

There is one cabin which will sleep four people and seating for 12 in the wheelhouse as well as a galley and sanitary facilities.

In addition to their normal large stand within the main Seawork exhibition hall, Damen Shipyards will also be represented on the Seawork floating pontoon by Forth Leopard, a newbuild Damen Stan Pilot 1505 delivered in April for Forth Ports, the Competent Harbour Authority for Scotland's Firth of Forth, for which it provides pilotage services.
