Marseiiles Moves Up

Cargo throughput at the French Port of Marseilles-Fos for the period of January through August reached 65.8m tons, a 19% increase on the same period a year ago.
August was the busiest month of the year to date, with some 8.6m tons of traffic. Box traffic edged ahead to 632,000teu, helped by a 3% rise in east-west trade through Fos.
