Compact Stern Lamp Seen from Two Miles
01 Sep 2006
From calm to choppy waters, accurate navigation lamps are necessary for vessel visibility and safety. Meeting regulations for boats up to 20m, the new compact two nautical mile NaviLED stern lamps from New Zealand headquartered Hella Marine are designed to withstand harsh conditions and save power on board.
Hella, which has sales outlets in 20 European countries, ships each NaviLED stern lamp completely sealed and watertight.
The high impact and UV resistant acrylic housings provide a long service life and are thoroughly tested to resist damage from vibration and shock.
Hella Marine Multivolt circuitry provides a uniform level of light intensity across a range of input voltages from 8 to 28 DC. The maintenance free units consume less than 2 watts of power.
Available with a black, white or metallic cover, the compact lamps measure 71mm wide by 53mm high by 33mm deep. Pre-wired with some 120mm of cable, the lamps are secured by mounting the shroud, running the cable and snapping it into place.
There are no visible fastenings.
NaviLED stern lamps carry IMO Col Reg, USCG and ABYC a-16 approval.
