The Inward Buyer Mission will bring 20 key decision makers from major overseas companies to Seawork to meet with over 40 UK suppliers, in order to develop commercial relationships. Buyers and suppliers will be matched by capability and interest. Each buyer will have a pre-arranged schedule of meetings, based on half hour slots.
This event is being organized by UK Trade and Investment South East (www.uktisoutheast.com) and Mercator Media Ltd, organisers of Seawork (www.seawork.com), with support from SEEDA (www.seeda.co.uk), local authorities and trade associations.
Buyers and Suppliers
Buyers will be invited from organisations that have an interest in procuring marine equipment and services, such as port authorities, equipment distributors, vessel operators and ship yards. The buyers will be purchasing decision makers. They will come from across Europe, Asia and North America. This website will be updated as buyers confirm their attendance.
Suppliers will be UK-based companies with suitable products and services. Each supplier will be charged £25 per meeting with a £200 fully-refundable booking deposit. Meetings will be scheduled based on supplier capabilities and buyer interest.
The sector coverage of the event will be focused on the light commercial sector:
