Odom Enters Multibeam Market

The fiercely competitive multibeam system market now has another contestant, Odom Hydrographic Systems of Baton Rouge in the USA.
Its new affordable ES3 system, it says, is aimed at those who think multibeam technology is either beyond their economic means or simply too complicated to use.
But with its compact lightweight ES3, shallow water multibeam surveying is within the reach of everyone, the company claims. Data acquisition is via industry standard software packages such as Hypack Hysweep and QINSy while all that is required for system set-up is a personal computer and Odom’s ES3 control software.
