    Seawork Debut for New Chart Plotter

    Winchester UK based Seawork exhibitor Standard Horizon used this year’s show to launch a new medium sized chart plotter, the CP300, which features a sunlight viewable 7” colour widescreen display, a host of navigation features and video input for a DVD player or remote camera.

    Portsmouth based marine electronics supplier Raymarine was well represented at Seawork 2007, with all the latest equipment on its own stand within the show but also with a full integrated package of its navigation, communication and safety equipment on board a high performance RIB on the Seawork pontoon.

    ‘Workboat Navigator’ Launches in America

    America’s Jeppesen Marine has launched Jeppesen Workboat Navigator, a piloting solution for commercial boats operating in coastal areas and inland waterways which provides mariners with a combination of detailed vector-based digital marine charts, location based data such as Notices to Mariners, and input from onboard sensors, such as GPS, radar, AIS, heading sensors, and onboard cameras.
