Its marine asset finance team will be available on Stand 129 throughout Seawork 2007 to discuss vessel funding requirements with visitors and fellow exhibitors.

Quotations will be provided on request for any vessels displayed at Seawork 2007.

The marine asset finance division may be able to offer funding solutions for UK companies to purchase plant and machinery as well as commercial vessels such as river sea ships, tugs, workboats and barges to expand and/or maximise business opportunities.

Responding to its growing customer base, the marine asset finance division has recently appointed office manager for commercial vessels, Darren Harnett. Already a part of the Bank of Scotland marine finance team, Darren brings six years experience in sales and conveyancing to his new role, where he will be responsible for conveyancing and documentation of funding solutions for customers.

Harnett will report to the associate director, Paul Ratcliffe, who is an ex-merchant navy second officer and has nearly twenty years experience in the finance industry. The marine asset finance division is able to supply funds in sterling, euros and dollars and can call upon the resources of the company’s global shipping division if complex, larger requests are received.
