PC Maritime Boosts ECDIS Sales

PC Maritime of Plymouth reports further sales of its Navmaster ECDIS units to three new customers, John H Whitaker (Tankers) Ltd of Hull, Scotline in Romford and Dublin based Irish Ferries.
This, it says, is the result of a strategy to work with chart agents and provide a combined ECDIS plus electronic and paper chart service, with all three new customers aiming to go paperless in the near future.
Type approved by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) to the IHO’s latest Colour and Symbol specifications, Navmaster is designed for all types of vessel and is the outcome of a ten year development programme. In addition to providing automatic position plotting and monitoring as well as route planning functions, other main features of the modular system include a remote diagnostics facility for rapid and low cost support.
