Dutch and Danish Assist Dredging Project in Mozambique

The Dutch government is to contribute US$18m to two emergency dredging projects.
This is for the access channel to the Mozambican port of Beira and the manoeuvring basins at the port.
Dredging the access channel to the port will make it possible to accept larger vessels.
The Danish government is also to provide US$40 million for the project.
